Our Guinea djembes are among the finest drums available in Guinea, built to produce the famous djembe tonal qualities: clear high slaps, solid mid tones, and deep resonant bass. Each djembe is custom carved by hand of seasoned specialty hardwoods in the typical Guinea shape. The skins are medium thick and pulled tight, giving a semi-dry tonal response, suitable for ensemble or solo drumming. Included in our selection are Wula Drum, Africa Heartwood Project, Drumskull Drums, and our own Custom Professional line.
