Cow skin! We have not had one of these in a while... in fact, it is the first Senegal shell we have hooked up with cow skin. At present it has a semi-wet sound response, meaning very full bass, super strong, punchy, low tones, and thick slaps that have that cow-skin bite. With some additional tuning this drum will come up to a semi-dry sound, perfect as a lead djembe and fast playing. The shell is simple Senegal style with a longer bowl and ultra flared base. As is typical with Senegal djembes, the hard Dugura wood is dry carved and a bit rough on the inside, providing a sound full of character. Comes Along with a money back guarantee, this custom professional djembe features:
