This option is specifically for Custom Professional djembes purchased from our drum shop, or other high-end African drum builders. Exceptionally built djembes require extra time and attention when being reheaded, to give that precision sound the professional djembefola requires. This includes selection of a premium goat skin from Mali or Ivory Coast, complete oiling of shell with shea butter or coconut oil, minor crack repairs, skin installation using skin-over, cut, or rolled, and extra tuning. |
