For top and bottom loops we use top quality 4mm rope manufactured just for hand drums, available in a variety of solid colors. We typically use the standard double half hitches on the top ring, and a single half hitch spiral on the bottom ring, using colored cotton cloth to wrap rings first. If you need new rings you'll also need new loops (not possible to recycle loop rope). When completing checkout please specify your color preferences for rope and ring cloth.
