Author of his country's first national anthem, the composer and song-writer Abou Chihabi is one of those artists who have found just the right tone to express the spirit of the Comoran people. He uses his fertile imagination to write songs denouncing injustice and oppression, and praising the values of democracy and tolerance – songs that enrich his country's popular heritage.
