| The result of many years of experience in teaching (besides the djembe, also rhythmic education and percussion), this method starts from the happy presupposition: everyone can plany the djembe. And in fact, the instrument has now permanently entered even into amateur groups as well as in the improvised "cantate" amoung friends. Through these simple exercises, one learns to know and to apply the various colors of the sounds on the djembe until one attains a confidence with the accents to be thus able to distribute them inside any musical period with a certain elegance and spontaneity. |
