Bone man was recorded with two new ideas evolped by Charlie McMahon. The didjeribone, a pitch shift variation on the didjeridu and seismic amplification (Face Bass) first used on the 'xenophon' album (Gondwana. Log Music 1998). Charlie recorded the first didj based album 'Terra Incognita' (Gondwanaland. Log Music 1981).
